Strategy planning optimized for your business. We use the personal approach and 29 years experience in Fortune companies, startups and everything between developing your strategy along side you. In early stage companies, strategy can change like the wind. Its important to spend just enough time on that at first, with a commitment to continue strategy development and adjustment 3-4 times a year as you grow your business.


Sequencing. We help you figure out where you are and what to do next. And Next. Not only do we help you do the right things in the right order, we can help you manage all the moving parts using our project management expertise. 


Capital strategy.  We figure out the best types of funds you should go after at what time. We have access to many investor sources around the country, no matter what size of investment you need. We like to say that if the CEO is not spending 50% of their time raising capital, they are doing the wrong things. When you spend that much time, you’ll want to be sure your time is used wisely. Too many times CEOs use the “shotgun” approach slogging around town or around the Internet hoping they’ll find someone with interest in your project. Determining your capital strategy gives you effective use of your time and I help you do that.

Our Conceptualizing Deliverables:

A three page, professionally produced, investor-attractive Executive Summary / Business Overview in conjunction with my strategic planning where we work with you hands-on to develop them with you. This is not where you hand over some documents to us and get a business overview handed back to you. Its yours and comes from your brain, your heart and your soul, which is what investors need to see. You want investors to determine quickly if they are interested or not. Financial Projections. We use personal, one-on-one sessions creating a “bottoms up” financial models and sales models that investors need to see. These are written in a way that shows investors your business is well thought out. Investors do look at the numbers, but the real benefit of my approach is you get to tell them the story behind the numbers. We take your fear out of the numbers. We teach you how to understand what the numbers mean so you become more financially sophisticated, something investors rate high as well.

Business Plans.  This pulls it all together for the entrepreneur. This tool does not normally need to be completed until after seed capital is raised. Many people ask, "Do you have a business plan?" Most people think they should spend a bunch of time building and maintaining their business plan. Not so. If you have a well thought out and documented business strategy, a business plan won't be needed until you need to raise perhaps $1M or over. CxO To Go helps companies write their business plans, but it's not a "throw it over the wall" situation. We engage with you to ask the right questions and you work hard at it, too. That's what investors want to see so that's what we guide you to do.
